Make your balls happy…

“Vampire’s Ball”
Bram Stoker International Film Festival – Whitby, England

Good morning, we trust everyone is well today?

Well, it looks like the countdown, traveling and what-not is on. We’d like to wish everyone happy, safe and peaceful times with their balls and we would also like to remind everyone to take precautions, just the normal stuff you know but nevertheless it is sometimes good to remind ourselves what our balls are all for…!!!

No matter where you’re going or what you’re going to be doing over the Halloween period personal safety is the first and foremost consideration… things like being in a group, don’t leave your drinks unattended, don’t accept lifts from strangers, let friends know – if you’re going out – where you’re going, who you’re going with and what time you expect to be home.

Make sure you have phones with you – if you can, ladies, fit them into your gorgeous gowns somehow, if not might we suggest the time honoured garter?

Stick to public frequented areas, hang in the lights and noise and keep your wallets/purses secured – again, if you can fit them in your evening wear, if not have your escort take care of it ladies.

Consume responsibly, self-respect and public image might not count for much where you are from, your “home turf”, so to speak but in another city or town…

Truly, if you do get into some strife LOOK FOR A POLICEMAN, they might look at you a bit strange in your Halloween rig but, at the end of the day, they don’t want anyone messing up their city.

Above all, have fun…

Yes, it’s a macabre time of the year, all full of ghosts, goblins, witches Vamps and Weres but at the end of the night we want to see everyone safe, well and with happy memories.

Event organisers, security for your parties is always going to be a consideration – make sure your guests, invited or public, enjoy a happy and hassle free environment – don’t mean to tell anyone how to suck eggs but if you’re going to have big balls make them happy balls… or, ummm, events…

Happy Halloween from John Reason’s Real Vampire Life E-Zine, we hope your balls are a smashing success…
