Good evening to all our readers and followers.
Over the course of the last few weeks we have received, via email contact, three separate emails on the same subject, originating from the same place, promising the same thing. Now, you may say we are preaching to the converted but such invitations have lured youngsters into the grip of vicious predators before now.
The first two emails were from someone calling themselves the Mikaelson Family who, for those of you who may not know, are a family of characters in the show The Vampire Diaries… curious eh?
The third email, originating from EXACTLY the same location arrived in our inbox this morning, it read:

A quick check ( http://www.ip-tracker.org/ ) on the IP Address: 22.214.171.124 revealed the following:
Continent: Africa (AF)
Country: Nigeria (NG)
City Location: Lagos
Continent Lat/Lon: 7.18805 / 21.09361
Country Lat/Lon: 10 / 8
City Lat/Lon: (6.4531) / (3.3958)
IP Language: English, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Languages of Nigeria
IP Address Speed: Unknown Internet Speed
IP Currency: Nigerian naira (NGN)
IDD Code: +234
This corresponds exactly with the information gained from the first two emails. While the majority of you may well brush this off as some idiot roleplayer trying to get attention, generally, we have found; in the main, that the roleplayers go away if they are ignored… not so this time. That prompts the question, “What do they want?”
The emails themselves scan clean for virus/infections but that is probably not the reason they are being sent for, while Nigeria doesn’t rate as one of the world’s top “Hacker” threat countries it does hold first place for “scamming”.
Please be aware that this bizarre fishing expedition is probably an attempt to get you to do something, send money perhaps, in return for being turned into an immortal bloodsucking prince/princess of darkness…
OUR STRONGEST ADVICE – Do NOT respond to such an email if you should receive one. Mark it as spam in your email system and forget all about it.
“But it’s probably just be some crank playing a joke?” you say… indeed it may be, then again it could be something other and you really wouldn’t want to take the chance would you.
Respectfully, as always,
NB: This material is meant for the public domain, please take it and place it wherever you wish, with or without originating credit, that’s fine… just let people know about it so no one gets caught.
