As you all know, and know only too well, the “questions” have all been asked a myriad times, they have been answered a myriad times and then; after a while, the questions pop up again and they are discussed again and sometimes, just sometimes, someone has an extra little insight to add but mostly the answers are finite given that we can’t prove a darned thing.
Questions like, “What makes you believe you are a Vampire?”
“What do real living modern Vampyres do?”
“Why do real living modern Vampires do what they do?”
“How do real living modern Vampyres do it?”
“Where do real living modern Vampires go?”
So on and so forth, over and over ad nauseum, in dozens of groups, on dozens of websites and in dozens of forums so the question here is what are we going to do here that is, or will be, so different?
The short answer; Why?
“Why are there real living modern Vampyres?”
In 1859 Charles Darwin wrote, in the 1st Edition of “On the Origin of the Species” (Chap. 4 Natural Selection)
“Let it be borne in mind how infinitely complex and close-fitting are the mutual relations of all organic beings to each other and to their physical conditions of life. Can it, then, be thought improbable, seeing that variations useful to man have undoubtedly occurred, that other variations useful in some way to each being in the great and complex battle of life, should sometimes occur in the course of thousands of generations? If such do occur, can we doubt (remembering that many more individuals are born than can possibly survive) that individuals having any advantage, however slight, over others, would have the best chance of surviving and of procreating their kind?”
So, we can only conclude that unless we are the very first generation, the base unit of a species, in our modern Vampire state, that we have come from a longer line of variations in natural selection than has previously been considered.
Here at RVL we have, in the past, discussed origins with several of our guests, guests such as Lady Kaia in the editorial “Chatting with Vampires ~ Lady Kaia”
and guests Izidari and Danica in the editorial “Alternative thinking ~ The Vampire Retrovirus” but there have also been other guests with different theories on the Origin of the Species and, in truth, we have no evidence, as yet, to support any of the theories.
In offering another theory I am well aware that it will, in some quarters, be rejected, ridiculed and discredited by commentators who have no knowledge to effectively and factually argue the point – the arguments will come from nothing more than ‘personal belief’, and that, dear reader, is where all theories and hypotheses begin ~ in someone’s belief.
A clear distinction:
I do want to make one thing clear from the very start, this is not going to be an attempt to examine differences between Vampires of different paths, it is not going to be an attempt to discuss/argue the pros and cons of “sang” versus “Psi” existence and it is not going to introduce random differentiation between those two classifications and “Hybrid-vampires”. What it is going to be is offering a theory that may well account for the existence of modern vampires and may well already have precedents in current psychological thinking.
There is a clear precedent that is set in the concept of “past lives”, or, more commonly, the existence of “racial memories.” Racial memories are those items of knowledge that are simply “known” by descendants of older generations despite the fact the new generation has never actually known, seen nor experienced the action that the “memory” relates to.
The School of Medicine at The University of Virginia has been conducting studies with children who appear to have memories of past lives for some time and the links to a number of articles can be found at the University Department of Psychiatry page. Furthermore, a full paper detailing an inquiry into past life experiences, conducted and authored by Dr. Paul F. Cunningham, can be reviewed at http://www.rivier.edu/
As I say, there is a precedent for previous existences and this forms one of the basis on which this presentation is made.
The role of science and fact:
According to the commonly accepted physical laws of Thermodynamics we know that;
The four laws of thermodynamics are:
[The] “Zeroth law of thermodynamics: If two systems are in thermal equilibrium respectively with a third system, they must be in thermal equilibrium with each other. This law helps define the notion of temperature.
[The] First law of thermodynamics: When energy passes, as work, as heat, or with matter, into or out from a system, its internal energy changes in accord with the law of conservation of energy. Equivalently, perpetual motion machines of the first kind are impossible.
[The] Second law of thermodynamics: In a natural thermodynamic process, the sum of the entropies of the interacting thermodynamic systems increases. Equivalently, perpetual motion machines of the second kind are impossible.
[The] Third law of thermodynamics: The entropy of a system approaches a constant value as the temperature approaches absolute zero. With the exception of non-crystalline solids (glasses) the entropy of a system at absolute zero is typically close to zero, and is equal to the log of the multiplicity of the quantum ground states.”
The Law of The Conservation of energy, meanwhile, states that;
“In physics, the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant—it is said to be conserved over time. Energy can be neither created nor be destroyed, but it transforms from one form to another.”
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but it can be converted, or transformed. It is in this principle that we can base our consideration of the origin of modern vampirism.
The Human Developmental cycle:
As early as week 6 to 7 the baby’s brain forms into five different areas. Some cranial nerves are visible. From week 8 to 10 the baby’s brain continues to grow and in the 10th week baby is no longer an embryo. It is now a foetus, the stage of development up until birth. Somewhere during this period the elusive and not entirely explained, “spark of humanity” is afforded to the developing foetus.
No one has yet satisfactorily been able to quantify the “spark” that creates a human being; a foetus from an embryo. It is here that we are forced to think outside our boxes. Does the “spark” come from simple bio-chemical reactions? Does it come from “God”? Or does it come from somewhere in a stored energy that exists within an isolated system, as the Law of the Conservation of Energy states?
It is my contention that everything that has ever lived and died possesses an energy during its existence. When the physical existence comes to an end, as every physical existence must, where does the energy of that thing go? It cannot be destroyed as we know from the Energy Conservation law of physics, I conjecture that it returns to the isolated system from which it came.
When a new “existence” comes into being it is afforded a measure of this “energy” pool to complete its development. Consider then, what happens if, for some unknown physical reason, the new existence does not receive a necessary “full input” of energy?
Could this account for birth defects? Deformity of newborns? Deficiency of intelligence in newborns and so forth? Could the inverse also be true? If a new “existence” receives an overabundance of this “energy allowance” could that explain “child prodigies”? Geniuses? Brilliant scientists, mathematicians, physicists and other scientists, doctors and the like?
In the former event the lack of necessary optimum energy allowance could well lead to the creation of what we refer to as the Modern Living Vampire, a being that needs to supplement its lack, in some manner, to remain fit, healthy and well.
Alternatively, an abundance of such energy allowance could easily include energies of previous beings which may well bring with it knowledge and experience of times long past and hence the existence of “past lives” and “racial memory”.
Something to think about perhaps?
I recall driving to Michigan in 2013 with a work colleague for off-site training. We were discussing a whole range of things along the way. My colleague was a hardline scientist; he had no religious, metaphysical or extra-normal beliefs in his body. At one point we had seemingly arrived at a stalemate so I changed tack. I asked him,
“The Law of the Conservation of Energy says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed in an isolated system, yes?”
He replied, “Yes, that’s quite correct…”
I said, “So, every living thing possesses energy in it while it’s alive, it’s either electro-chemical, bio-chemical, or some such thing right? It’s what gives us the capacity to think, to reason, to act, yes?”
He responded, “Yes, that’s right…”
I then said, “So, when that being or creature dies the energy goes somewhere right?”
He replied, “It has to…”
I said, “Where does it go then?”
He looked at me, opened his mouth, closed his mouth, and looked out of the windshield and after several moments he said, quietly, “I never thought of it like that before, I’ll have to think about that.”
There the conversation, on that particular subject, ended.
Maybe it’s time for us, as a species, to think about things in a new way?
